Raising the Bar

This trail descends after the highs of Walt Hill, serenely through the old growth forest, with much evidence of previous logging, easily downward across the Weldwood Main, across the Goat Lake Main and ends at the river. Depending on the flow, controlled by the dam, the river can either be navigatable on the rocks or a raging flood that requires one to use the roadway and an extra 3 or so km to cross it.
