These photos resulted from a hike in late May 2001. As of 2000/1 on the climb up to Gilbratar Lookout one passes over a new logging road, between the last foot bridge and the steep switchbacks up to the logged ridge. In this area thin logging has occured as well, leaving clear lines of sight for many meters and still a canopy to preserve the cool of the woods.
